Comments: Am researching family "Teskey" (or Teske, or Feske) as passed through Rotterdam in 1709 on their way to England. They were in the second party of Palatinates, coming down the Rhein river from the Rhein-Pfalz area of south-west Germany. This family presumably were a settled family in the Rhein-Pfalz, but may have orginated in the East Prussia region, prior to 1709. Jacob Teskey (Feske), born c.1659, was a turner by trade, and a Reformist by religion. He had a wife (name unknown) and two sons: Solomon (a.k.a. Daniel) and Jacob, all of whom accompanied him to England, from where they further emigtated to Ireland, and then to Canada. I am a blood descendant of Jacob Teskey, of the ninth generation down. Any information in respect of the history of this family would be greatly appreciated. I have dozens of names of descendants of this family, and would be willing to share with other interested parties. Thank you. 30.

As far as I know all of my father's extended family was killed by the Nazis-the only know survivors are my immediate family and my uncle Simon Teeboom and his two children. In my immediate family there is me, Fred Teeboom, my father and mother Janice, my brothers Troy, Tyson, Ryan and Kevin. as well as 2 cousins Leon and Irving My grandmother was Margaretha Winnek-Teeboom who died in May 1993. Are there any other Teebooms out there? My family did have recent e-mail contact with Pheobe. Please write me, I am very interested to know of any other Teeboom family members.

Comments: I am researching a "Catherine Vanderipe" which family tradition says is descended from the Jurien Tomassen who sailed on "The Spotted Cow." She was b. 11/04/1743 in Somerset Co., NJ and died on 02/21/1820. On 12/09/1766 she married Garret Peterson. I wonder if anyone out there can assist me with finding her connection, if any, to Jurien Tomassen.
